Tough times like we are in these days offer many opportunities to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ. We want our church to be at its best in this season. We want to be here for people who need the Lord. We want to do more to help people with physical and spiritual needs. We want to partner with missionaries and Christian relief agencies locally and around the world. We want to be a vibrant source of help and hope. We can accomplish more together than we can alone. And it’s amazing what the church can do when we come together for a common purpose.
Where does Ward Church get its money?
Our support comes from people like you, those who consider Ward Church their home or those who support the ministry and causes of Ward Church. This happens through tithing and other offerings. Our support comes from many people, not just a few.
Do you have financial accountability?
Yes. We have a board of trustees, an internal staff, and volunteer financial experts who oversee the church’s financial internal controls. In addition, an independent financial and internal control audit is completed each year and is available upon request.
What happens to left over money?
We carefully plan our ministry to match the financial resources that people like you have given. If there is anything left over, it goes to fund the on-going ministries of Ward Church.
