What's the point?

Jesus gave his followers a Job Description just before he went up to heaven: to start communities of Jesus-followers among Jews, then Samaritans, and then among every other ethnic group in the world. The goal of Global Outreach at Ward is to make sure we don’t forget the unfinished part of our Job Description – to start communities of Jesus-followers among the 10,000 ethnic groups still without them.

Where in the world?

The unreached ethnic groups are not evenly distributed around the world; they are concentrated in certain areas. Rather than trying to spread our resources out everywhere, we have made one area our primary focus – the Muslim world.

How do I fit in?

Helping to start Jesus Communities among Muslim ethnic groups that don’t have them is one of the most exciting and most challenging tasks imaginable. The fact that there are still so many Muslim groups without Jesus Communities is evidence of our many failures. It is a big task, and we need help.
